Governor General's Award
This award features Canadian literature for children and adults.

                   



Newbery Medal
The Newbery Medal was named for eighteenth-century British bookseller John Newbery. It is awarded annually by the Association for Library Service to Children, to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children.

                    



Other Literary Awards for Children

Includes the Book of the Year for Children Award, the Amelia Frances Howard-Gibbon Illustrator's Award, and the Young Adult Canadian Book Award.

                   



PNLA Young Reader's Choice Awards

This award has three different divisions: Junior (Grades 4-6), Intermediate (Grades 7-9), and Senior (Grades 10-12).

                   



Randalph Caldecott Award

It is awarded annually by the Association for Library Service to Children to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children

                   



Rocky Mountain Book Awards

This award features Canadian literature for children in Grades 4-7.
