Travel Tales - Paddle the Tatshenshini-Alsek River

Tatshenshini Provincial Park is a remote area in northern BC that stretches from Kluane National Park through to Alaska. It is an UNESCO World Heritage site, and was a vital area for First Nations fishing and trade. Find out what it's like to spend 12 days rafting down this mighty river system from Dalton Post, Yukon to the Gulf of Alaska, travelling through tight canyon rapids at the start to avoiding ice burgs at the end.
