Renewals are now easier than ever!
Most library materials can be renewed unless:

- Your library card has expired.
There are 4 ways to renew library items:

Please note: If items are already overdue please contact the library by phone or in-person.
- Click on My Account and
- Login using your library card number and pin (last 4 digits of your home phone number).
- Select the Items out/Renew button.
- Renew items.
2. Call the library (403-938-2220) to renew items.
- Please have your library card in front of you.
- We begin taking phone renewals at 10 a.m. Monday through Saturday and take calls until closing time. Telephone renewals are accepted on Sundays when the library is open (Sept - June).

How do I place a hold?
To place a hold on a library item, it is important that you login first with your library card number and pin (last four digits of your phone number).
- Click on Search. Select a method of searching (author, title etc).
- Type in the search terms you wish to use and click the “GO” arrow or press ENTER.
- Check the publication date before placing a hold where necessary – sometimes having the latest information is important. Also check the type of format available (book or audiobook on cassette, audiobook on CD etc) and ensure that format is what you are looking for.
- Click on the item to view the list of available holdings. Check if your library has a copy and whether or not it is available. If there is a copy available you can go to the library and check it out without placing a hold.
- If your library does not have a copy or it is checked out, click the request item button and follow instructions from there.
If you wish to place more holds then click on “return to searching” otherwise “logout and return” if you have finished using TRACpac.
Example:
Author: Brown, Dan
Title: Angels and demons
Once you have found the title you are looking for, click on the title to view information about the item, holdings available, format etc.
Follow instructions as above for placing a hold. If you wish to display the items that you have on hold and their status, go to My Account and select “Titles on hold”. Please remember to logout of TRACpac when you are finished.
