Mindfulness: a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts and bodily sensations. Mindfulness techniques can help relieve anxiety, manage emotions and focus attention.
Please join us on ZOOM! Bring yourself, we will have everything else needed for mindfulness. If you have a yoga mat, feel free to use it. For more information call Okotoks Mental Health at 403-995-2712. This group is drop in for 9 weeks and is on-going so feel free to attend as many or as few sessions as you like.
