If You Could Wear My Sneakers (Puppet Workshop)

'Celebrate Our Identity' - Alberta Culture Days, September 2023

Ages 10-12 years

In the spirit of friendship and understanding, participants will make a self portrait puppet face for their shoe and act out this fun poem by Sheree Fitch. They will consider what makes themselves unique and what they share with others. Wendy will pass along some paper sculpture techniques and a bit of math when reviewing face proportions, as well as puppet animation tips.
